Could be great for stopover. The place was cool and comfortable and the staff were enthusiastic, the location was favourable down a bewildering maze of corridors. I had a big size room with exceptionally comfortable bed and a walk in closet, a minibar, and a kitchenette area. Appreciated easy check-in and late check-out. Moreover, they provided a public parking nearby.

Just a strong match for a short weekend trip in Cologne with attractive and competitive value for money. The bar served a great Kolsch and had a friendly vibe, perfect after a long day exploring. Make sure to find some local dining spots instead of eating at the hotel restaurant.

Classik hotel antonius is an excellent choice! Our large double room had a fine view of the cathedral. The underfloor heating was a nice touch, and the wellness area with a sauna was a great way to relax after a day out. It's just a short walk to cafes and shops.
would recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Hopper Hotel St. Antonius. Excellent value! The breakfast was included and extremely good, the staff was very happy to assist with all requests, and I liked the touch of a free apple for my day of exploring. Location was great but not in the heart of things...about a ten minute walk north of the Central Station and a five minute walk to the nearest u station. The neighborhood is very quiet.
Dinner at the restaurant was just ok and the internet connection was intermittent at best. Internet was free so no complaints and it may have been the location of my room...be sure to ask for a room with close access to a signal if this is important to you.

The room I had did noy have a sit down desk and the Wifi was a bit weak. The lobby could be a bit more comfortable.

Charming courtyard, modern amenities, unique historical character
Basic room amenities felt lacking!!! Inconsistent room cleaning policies could use a revamp!!! A good place but missed the mark with some key details!!!

The Location is perfectly situated for sightseeing and bussiness, a short walk away from Koeln-Hbf. The next underground is only 3 minutes away. The staff is friendly and helpfull.
Single Rooms are a little bit too small.

I gotta say, this place was a real gem! My room was big enough for me to kick back after a long day, and they got a nifty coffee machine that hit the spot. The breakfast was lovely with a good spread, and the folks at the front desk were super helpful. Just wish they had better info on what was available at breakfast.

the room was very large and clean . Modern bathroom Good breakfast.Good location
staff were not very friendly. Room was on he 4th floor and my partner came in after me having parked the car - could not find the room as no room no. directions on wall when you come out of the lift - asked the cleaner who advised there was no 4th floor(even though on it) or room no. - went back to reception who advised same thing !! Also the electronic key did not work on returning to room (happened twice) and long way down to reception. Whilst we realised this was a modern style hotel , the common areas felt very clinical. Floor in the shower is tiled so felt quite slippery. Also did not like the floor to ceiling mirror facing the loo! Would not stay there again

(1) I love the central location, near the train station / sights n sounds of many of the city's historic / cultural spots but without the hustle n bustle... (2) The overall design of the hotel n rooms are modern but mindful of the need to integrate the new with the old - I felt I was in a tranquille seminary or boarding school... (3) I simply adore the breakfast - the simplicity of all things admist the understated abundance of choice....
I only stayed for 1 night and what a perfect stay it was! Hence, there is nothing drastically unpleasant for me to wax lyrical about...KEEP Up with maintaining the ambiance of this historic building, even as you advance ahead...
